Breaking down the 2024-25 national TV schedule

The Washington Capitals national TV schedule includes five games on TNT, two games on ABC and four games on ESPN. In addition, five of D.C.'s games will be available on ESPN plus while two will be available on Hulu.

In addition there are five time changes to the original schedule: Oct. 29 vs. the New York Rangers from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Nov. 8 vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at Pittsburgh from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and April 15 at the New York Islanders from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Here are the dates:

Tuesday Oct. 22 vs. Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center 6 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN plus

Wednesday Oct. 23 vs. Philadelphia Flyers at Capital One Arena at 7:30 p.m. on TNT, TruTV and MAX

Tuesday Oct. 29 vs. New York Rangers at Capital One Arena 7:30 p.m. on ESPN

Friday Nov. 8 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins at Capital One Arena at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN plus and Hulu

Wednesday Nov. 27 at Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena 7:30 p.m. on TNT and MAX

Saturday Jan. 4 vs. New York Rangers at Capital One Arena at 12 p.m. on ABC and ESPN plus

Saturday Feb. 22 at Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena at 3 p.m. on ABC and ESPN plus

Sunday Feb. 23 vs. Edmonton Oilers at 1 p.m. on TNT, TruTV, and MAX

Wednesday March 5 at New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden at 7:30 p.m. on TNT, TruTV and MAX

Sunday April 6 vs. New York Islanders at UBS Arena at 12:30 p.m. on TNT, TruTV and MAX

Thursday April 10 vs. Carolina Hurricanes at Capital One Arena at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN plus and Hulu

Friday April 15 vs. New York Islanders at UBS Arena at 8 p.m on ESPN

Thursday April 17 at Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on ESPN

Information regarding the complete broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date with the rest of the games airing on Monumental Sports Network, per a press release by the Caps.
