Ivan Miroshnichenko has something to prove
This is going to be an excitcing season coming up for the rookie who has already gotten a taste of NHL experience as well as AHL experience in winning the Calder Cup with the Hershey Bears. This will be a good opportuntiy for him in front of assembled media to showcase his talents as he hopes to lead the next generation of Caps players.
It's crazy to believe we are 49 days away from the Caps celebrating their 50th anniversary season which means training camp is almost here but first of course comes rookie camp.
Players will be photographed for trading cards and will play with a variety of prospects in pick up hockey around the league.
