Here's how Capitals fans can vote for the final rosters of the 2024 NHL All-Star Game
Tom Wilson may be representing the Washington Capitals at the 2024 NHL All Star Game in Toronto but there is a way we can make sure he's not the only Caps player there.
What about Dylan Strome or Anthony Mantha? Is there anyone else I could be missing? Well there is a way Washington Capitals fans can vote for their favorite to join Tom Wilson at the All Star Game. That is thanks in large part to the NHL All Star Fan vote presented by Mass Mutual which will give fans the opportunity to complete the ASG rosters by selecting up to 12 additional players.
Max choices are eight skaters and four goaltenders to round out your ballot. Player eligibility guidelines are here. Online voting is now open at NHL.com/Vote and closes on Thursday Jan. 11 at 11:59 p.m. eastern. Fans are permitted to select as few as one player and a maximum of 12 players online per ballot. Each fan can cast a maximum of 10 ballots per 24 hour period.
You can vote online on your internet browser which will feature interactive ballots available in eight languages: English, French, Czech, Finnish, German, Slovak, Spanish, and Swedish. You can also vote throguh the NHL app on your mobile device.
There is another way to vote and that is through X which as we all know by now used to be called Twitter. That will also conclude this Thursday at 11:59 p.m. All votes through X/Twitter will be combined with online vote totals.
Here's how to vote on X: You must include the complete hashtag #NHLAllStarVote and a player's full name, a player's X handle or by tagging the player's X handle. Only referencing a last name will not count. You also have to have an active and public X account. Eligible posts that count as votes on X include standalone posts, reposts, reply posts, quote posts.
Information from this article about All Star Game voting came via a press release from the NHL. The ASG weekend is from Feb. 1-3. Let's get Strome to the All Star Game, Caps fans!
