The Hershey Bears only needed the second period to break a tie this time as Alex Limoges would score what turned out to be the game winning goal. That stretch was part of three goals in the second period which included three points from Ivan Miroshnichenko to stun the crowd at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The win also extended the Bears playoff win streak to seven games. They struck first with a power play goal from Chase Priskie with Garett Roe and Miroshnichenko and extended Priskie's point streak to seven games with three goals and five assists.

Ethen Frank doubled the lead with a power play goal at 5:45 of the second period with the assists from Hendrix Lapierre and Joe Snively and it was a shot from the left circle that beat Jet Greaves for Frank's eighth of the playoffs. He's also on a six game goal scoring streak.

The Monsters solved Hunter Shepard on the other end briefly with two goals at 6:55 from Alex Whelan and a PPG from Trey Fix-Wolansky at 12:17 to even the score. In the final minutes of the second, the Bears turned it on.

At 17:14 the Bears took the lead as Dylan McIlrath found Miroshnichenko, dishing the puck to Limoges to beat Greaves. 1:09 later Miroshnichenko did some stickhandling for his ninth goal of the playoffs. Mike Vecchione and Priskie had the helpers.

At 19:32 the three goal outburst was complete as Joe Snively struck for his first of the postseason and Frank and Lapierre had the apples to complete the three goal stretch in a span of 2:18. Per the Bears, that's the fastest three goals scored in the current postseason.

Shots would finish 30-29 in favor of the Bears as Hunter Shepard tunred away 27 of those shots. The series continues on Thursday night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
