The Hershey Bears, your Washington Capitals AHL affiliates are ONE win away from a repeat of the trip to the Calder Cup Finals and a potential rematch with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. As the Bears lead the best of seven three games to none over the Cleveland Monsters, they need to make sure they continue to play their best hockey like they've been doing all spring.

How the Bears got here

The Bears got to this point thanks to a dominant Game 3 performance, a 6-2 victory. Chase Priskie struck first with a power play goal. Ethen Frank doubled the lead then the Monsters battled back with two straight goals. After Frank gave the Bears the lead, the Monsters tied it right back up.

Unlike the first two games, however, this chaos happened in the first two periods. The Bears answered with four unanswered goals in the third period from Alex Limoges, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Joe Snively, and Henrik Rybinski.

The Firebirds are in a 3-0 series lead of their own so this might be a Calder Cup Finals rematch if the Bears are to finish the job tonight in Cleveland. They take on the Milwaukee Admirals at 10 p.m. eastern time. The puck drops from Cleveland on the east coast at 7 p.m. if you're in the DC and Hershey markets.

You can also listen to the game on FOX Sports AM 1460 Stream in the Hershey market and worldwide at Caps Radio 24/7. The voice of the Bears, Zack Fisch will be on the call as will former captain Garrett Mitchell and FOX 43 sports director Todd Sadowski.
