The Washington Capitals will look to bounce back from their five game losing streak on Sunday night when they host the Ottawa Senators Sunday evening. Here's how to watch and bet on the game on a night the Caps will pay tribute to John Carlson becoming the third Capitals player in franchise history to play in all of their 1,000 NHL games with the Capitals.
Carlson appeared in his 1,000th NHL game on March 30 when the Caps played the Boston Bruins. During the ceremony, Carlson will receieve a special gift from the NHL, the Capitals organization, and his teammates. Caps players will also wear #74 jerseys during warmups which will be signed and auctioned off to benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD).
PPMD's mission is to end Duchene muscular dystrophy, which is the most common type of musclar dystrophy in children. It is a progressive disorder that causes muscles to become weaker over time.
