Is Alex Ovechkin Playing Tonight? Latest Injury Update for Blues vs. Caps

Once again Alex Ovechkin participated in morning skate per Bailey Johnson of The Post. Washington Capitals coach Spencer Carbery said that the team is waiting to see how he feels and will make a decision on if he plays tonight against the St. Louis Blues or not. Once again, game time decision for Ovi, he's missed three straight due to a lower body injury.

Rasmus Sandin wore a regular jersey while Sonny Milano remained in the non contact blue. Charlie Lindgren gets the nod in net against his former team. Ovechkin took reps on the Caps power play. He did not do that in Tuesday's morning skate. Other game time decisions tonight include Beck Malenstyn (personal) and Joel Edmundson (questionable, undisclosed injury). Edmundson did not skate.
