Projecting the Capitals top line in 2024-25

It's prediction time over here today we'll predict the top forward line

With the season inching closer and the coverage ramping up it's time to predict things over here regarding the Washington Capitals. First up we're going to predict the top line.

First up is the left wing and we'll go with Alex Ovechkin because of course

He needs no introduction and no reminders of the number to catch Wayne Gretzky but a big step in doing that is by being top line Alex Ovechkin who has the potential to dazzle us this season.

At center we'll go with Dylan Strome

Ever since his trade to Washington, Dylan Strome has done nohing but blossom. He recorded 27 goals and 40 assists for 67 points last season and in the season before that had 23 goals and 42 assists for 65 points.

At right wing we'll go with Tom Wilson

With the potential to be team captain one day, we know Tom Wilson has that dog in him. With 18 goals and 17 assists for 35 points he additionally recorded 13 goals and nine assists for 22 points the previous year and 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points in 78 games the year before that.
