Washington Capitals vs. Carolina Hurricanes: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More
Caps back at it on the road in Raleigh...
The Washington Capitals take on the Carolina Hurricanes looking to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Alex Ovechkin was the lone Capitals player to score as Charlie Lindgren had 20 saves on 23 shots. The team recalled Hunter Shepard from the Hershey Bears before the game as Darcy Kuemper is dealing with something that caused him to leave practice early the other day.
While the Caps got Tom Wilson back from his six game suspension they were without T.J. Oshie for the second straight game as he deals with an upper body injury. Now they're on the outside looking in for the wild card race and tonight is a must win. Here's how to watch at your own risk:

The Hurricanes are no easy team. Even though the Caps lead the season series 2-1-0 they earned both of those wins in the shootout. Both teams combined for a lot of offense with 12 goals on 56 shots on March 22 in DC in a Caps 7-6 win as Dylan Strome ended it in the shootout.
The Caps will face Evgeny Kuznetsov for the second time. So far this season he has two goals and four assists for six points in 14 games. He recorded 17 points in 43 games with the Caps prior to the trade with six goals and 11 assists.
Again this is a must win for the Caps especially after last night's clunker.
