Not only did Oshie have a hat trick in that win Thursday. The Caps also got multiple points from Dylan Strome, Max Pacioretty, and John Carlson. The first two of Oshie's three goals came on the power play which marked his fifth career game with multiple power play goals.

It was the first time Oshie did that since May 5, 2021 against the New York Rangers and he had a hat trick that night as well. Both of Oshie's power play goals were assisted by Pacioretty.

After tonight the Caps road trip continues with stops in Minnesota and Colorado on Tuesday and Wednesday.
