After some reports that the Washington Capitals were going to remain aggressive, even after acquiring Jordan Kyrou, a report has come out that the Capitals have emerged as the favorites to land Alex Tuch in a sign-and-trade.

This story continues to develop, but it seems as though the Capitals remain interested in bolstering their roster, and making a push for their second Stanley Cup in franchise history.

Tuch, who is 30 years old, scored 33 goals and added 33 assists for 66 points through 79 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season. Throughout his career, he has scored 200 goals and added 248 assists for 448 points through 615 games.

Tuch also has 79 career games of playoff experience, including 13 this season, where he scored four goals and added three assists for seven points.

This story will continue to develop, and we will continue to update as it changes.
