After some reports that the Washington Capitals were going to remain aggressive, even after acquiring Jordan Kyrou, a report has come out that the Capitals have emerged as the favorites to land Alex Tuch in a sign-and-trade.
Buffalo GM Jarmo Kekalainen said “Alex Tuch will be missed,” but the Sabres are moving on from the talented winger.

Tuch, who is 30 years old, scored 33 goals and added 33 assists for 66 points through 79 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season. Throughout his career, he has scored 200 goals and added 248 assists for 448 points through 615 games.
Tuch also has 79 career games of playoff experience, including 13 this season, where he scored four goals and added three assists for seven points.
