#2 Dylan Strome
Dylan Strome recorded three points with a goal and two assists on Saturday afternoon against the New York Rangers to bring his season total to a team leading 44 points in 39 games played with 12 goals and 32 assists. It marked Strome's fifth three point effort of the season.
Strome also notched an assist on Jan. 2 against the Minnesota Wild to reach the 30 assist mark for the fourth time in his career. He got his 30th assist in his 38th game of the season. It is the fastest Strome has reached the 30 assist mark in his career as it took him 64 games in 2022-23.
Strome, whose 67 points last season with 27 goals and 40 assiss led the Capitals and marked a career high, is on pace for 92 points this season. He has been on the ice for 32 goals at five on five compared to 20 against. His +12 goal differential at five on five is tied for the third highest on the team.
Strome played in his 200th game as a Capital on Dec. 31 against Boston. Since joining the Caps ahead of the 2022-23 season, Strome ranks first on the Caps in games played with 202, assists with 114 and points with 176 while ranking second in goals with 62.
