#2 Connor McMichael

Also per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post, expect no tweaks to the lineup. In yesterday's practice at MedStar Capitals Iceplex prior to the Florida departure these were the forward lines per Tarik El-Bashir of Monumental Sports Network:

Protas-Strome-Wilson

McMichael-Dubois-Raddysh

Lapierre-Eller-Mangiapane

*Vrana-Dowd-Miro

Fehervary-Carlson

Sandin-Roy

Chychrun-TvR

*Duhaime did not skate, per Carbery it was a maintenance day.

Now onto Connor McMichael who has had himself a breakout season right from the get go. He has 20 points in 20 games with 13 goals and seven assists for a plus/minus of +11. That is miles better than his career plus/minus of -12 prior to last season. He had a -20 last season and a -3 in the 2021-22 season.

For those that are new to the sport and a refresher for those that know it, a plus is given to a player who is on the ice when the team scores an even strength or shorthanded goal, while the minus is given to players on the ice when opponents score in those situations. So overall a much better season not only for the Caps offense but for DC's Connor Mc himself.
