#1 Connor McMichael
Connor McMichael stays red hot as he has four points in his last two games. That included three assists in their win on Black Friday over the New York Islanders on home ice in the Screaming Eagle jersey. Then he had a power play goal in Saturday's win in Newark over the New Jersey Devils.
So far this season McMichael has 14 goals and 10 assists for 24 points in 24 games. He also has a plus/minus of +10 as well as three game winning goals while averaging 17:34 minutes of ice time. That's miles better than his career average ice time of 13:50. He had a PPG Saturday night in New Jersey.
John Carlson talked after the win over New Jersey to Mike G. Moreale of NHL.com:
"I just think we're finding the right plays on the power play. I don't think it's overcomplicated. I think we're just trying to get the puck to our guys or to the middle and making things happen. "John Carlson
He's easily the best Connor Mc in hockey and we're glad he's ours. Be sure to catch these three hopefully make an impact as Alex Ovechkin is inching closer and closer to licking his chops to try to get on the ice. Puck drop tonight is at 7 p.m. on Monumental Sports Network.
