#2 Dylan Strome
Dylan Strome ranks tied for fourth in the NHL in assists with 19 and tied for eighth in points with 24 through games played Nov. 15. His 24 points are tied for the third most through the first 16 games in franchise history. Dating back to Feb. 5, the end of the 2024 NHL All Star break, Strome has recorded 47 assists in his last 51 games. The only centers with more assists in that span are Connor McDavid (66 in 47) and Nathan MacKinnon (62 in 51), per Mike Vogel of WashCaps.com.
In 14 of Washington's 16 games this season, Strome has recorded at least one point. His 67 points last season with 27 goals and 40 assists led the Capitals and marked a career high. He didn't reach the 24 point mark last season until his 38th game on Jan. 7.
Strome recorded his 200th assist on Nov. 6 and three nights later in St. Louis tallied his 98th, 99th, and 100th assists at a Capital in their route over the Blues. With 100 assists in his first 177 games with Washington, Strome became the eighth fastest player to reach the 100 assist mark with the Caps. He has also assisted on all 10 of Alex Ovechkin's goals this season.
