15 Olaf Kolzig 36 save shutout in 1998 ECF semifinal Game 4
After a 4-3 loss, Olaf Kolzig was simply lights out in the 1998 Eastern Conference Semifinal against the Ottawa Senators. He spoke after the game to the AP

The victory came on the road in Buffalo and was Kolzig's second shutout of the playoffs. It se the Caps up to one away away from their first trip to the 1998 Stanley Cup Eastern Confernce Final for just the second time in what was then their 24 year history.
The Caps would win the game 2-0 behind a goal in the late first period by Sergei Gonchar to set the tone. Godzilla made 36 saves to take care of business the rest of the way.
