#13 Capital One Arena grossed good numbers in 2024

Monumental Sports and Enterainmen released their annual report and to no surpise folks are folcking to the barn at Capital One Arena. We'll start with the suite life.

Suites at COA raised $47.8 in overall revenue, $30 million in lease revenue, $2.4 million in new lease revenue, $17.5 million in single event rental revenue, 90 percent suie lease renewal rate, and overall suites revenue went up by 10 percent.

Among one of the new features of 2024 was the Signature Club and Lounge, a "premium members-only space with a food and beverage menu speficially curated by the Jose Andres Group. Spanning nearly 5,000 square feet and located on the main concourse level, this space gives members access to eat, drink and the enjoyment of the newest, most exclusive sports and entertainment experience in the region."

Ticketing also continues to grow. In the release it says so far during the Caps 50th season, ticketing has sold 780 new full season seats, 23K+ new partical plans, 38K group tickets, and 48K individual tickets for a combined $17.1 in revenue. Additonally, the inagural inside sales class has generated $1M+ in new sales during their initial campiagn.

The Caps additonally launched a full apparel collection in celebration of Caps 50 and brought back the special black Screaming Eagle that is worn during six home games throughout the course of the season. They also continue to tie in retail with on ice milestones such as Ovi's GR9 Chase as well as T.J. Oshie and John Carlson's 1,000 career games.
