#22 Slapshot gets a new look for season 50
No it's not the above photo. For season 50 of Washington Capitals hockey, the team from top to bottom literally pulled out all the stops and yes that includes team mascot Slapshot. Here's the look for you in case you haven't seen it yet and for those that have, a refresher on the fire.

Before Slapshot there was Winger the Eagle from 1993-1995. He occassionally comes back.
Slapshot also likes to have fun off the ice like all mascots do.
