The Washington Capitals will look to bounce back from a Game 3 loss and extend their series lead to 3-1 if they win Game 4 tonight.

How to watch, betting odds and more

Puck drop is at 6:30 p.m. and you can catch the game on Monumental Sports Network, TBS, truTV, and MAX. You can also listen to the game on 106.7 The Fan and Caps Radio 24/7.

The Capitals vs Canadiens betting odds per Caesars have the Capitals as 1.5 goal underdogs on the road. Washington has -115 moneyline odds while Montreal has -105. Tonight's over/under is set at 6.0 goals.

The Capitals have a record of 23-7-1 in games following a loss this season and an 8-2-0 record after losing a game by three or more goals. Washington lost back to back games just six times during the regular season.

That's been a thing for the Caps this season, the ability to bounce back from a loss. They'll need to do that again tonight. They pulled up to Game 3 with a 2-0 series lead.

They won Game 1 off the heels of Alex Ovechkin's first career playoff overtime goal. Game 2 came with an MVP like performance in goal from Logan Thompson. When the scene shifted to Montreal for Game 3, things got dicey.

Both teams traded goals for the first 44 minutes of he contest and then the Habs scored three straight goals to win 6-3. Now the Habs have a chance to square the series or the Caps can go up 3-1.

The Caps may have a question mark in goal as Logan Thompson left Game 3 with under seven minutes remaining when he collided with teammate Dylan Strome. Charlie Lindgren came on in relief the rest of the way.

If Lindgren has to get the start he would start against the team that signed him as a college free agent just under nine years ago. Lindgren left the Habs organization after five years in the summer of 2021 and signed a free agent deal with the St. Louis Blues.

There may be some good news on the injury front even if Thompson is out. Aliaksei Protas, who has been out since April 4, skated on Saturday and could return to the lineup tonight if all goes well. Having him back would be vital for the scoring.
