21. Buffalo Sabres (from New York Islanders)

player. 12. The Sabres can afford to take a bit of a risk here. Svechnikov has the potential to be an excellent goal scorer. There is inherent risk in drafting him because he’s so raw, but I love his game. If he pans out, wow the Sabres could be good. Really good.. Right Wing. Cape Breton (QMJHL). Evgeni Svechnikov. 21

22. Washington Capitals

22. player. 19. The Washington Capitals, despite having a very good blue line this season, definitely need to add to their blue line depth. Kylington reminds me a lot of <strong><a href=. Defense. Farjestad (SHL). Oliver Kylington

23. Vancouver Canucks

Center. Farjestad (SHL). Joel Eriksson Ek. 23. player. 104. The Canucks really need to add some more skill to their forward group. The Sedins aren’t getting any younger. I really like Eriksson’s upside. I think his skill would add a lot to the Canucks’ top six forwards.

24. Toronto Maple Leafs (from New York Islanders)

25. Winnigpeg Jets (from St. Louis Blues)

Denis Guryanov. 25. player. 30. The Jets add another big forward. This one has the potential to be a really special scorer. Of course, there is risk in signing him. He might not adjust well to the North American-sized rinks as a KHL player. His defense is questionable at best. However, the Jets can really afford to take a risk here since they have two first rounders and I don’t see any huge weaknesses in their prospect pool.. Right Wing. Togilatti 2 (MHL)
