Big night tomorrow.

It is one of our favorite times of the year. Next to the start of the season and the start of the playoffs there may not be a time where more fans are excited. It is draft time! It’s the time of year where we all put on our GM hats and try to figure out who our favorite teams should pick, particularly with their first pick.

It’s also the time of the year where we try to break down prospects games, even though the vast majority of us haven’t seen a second of these young men’s games. Most of us go on what others scouting reports say, and that will be no different here.

For this list the three guys I’ve picked are all ranked around the Washington Capitals pick (some higher, some lower) and Corey Pronman has all of these guys being picked after the Capitals pick at 24th overall in his latest mock draft.

If these guys are truly supposed to go slightly later in the draft perhaps that opens up moving down options and acquiring more picks?

We’ll also only being looking at forwards on this list. With that mentioned, lets get started.
