TJ Oshie isn't leaving the Capitals just yet. He'll be in a suit instead of suited up for the ice as he joins the MNMT coverage of select games as an analyst.

Jumping into the Georgetown Waterfront fountain after the Cup win in 2018 really cemented what has been a tremendous career, before and since. It's fitting that his retirement announcement and other big Capitals ceremonies have taken place there in the years following.
From the Capitals Newsroom: "New this season, former Capitals forward and Stanley Cup champion T.J. Oshie will also make select appearances on Capitals shoulder programming and MNMT original shows, after announcing his retirement from the NHL in June."

The band isn't quite back together, but they're in the building and - let's be honest - a big part of this team is the vibes.
In interviews before the NHLPA Rookie Showcase, Ryan Leonard shared that, "Everyone on the team is great. One of the best cultures in the league over there." and earlier this year on NHL TikTok, "Everyone is Bandz and Babe on that team."
It's not the fab four of yore, but one thing is for sure. The Babe is back in town.
