The Washington Capitals are coming off a 5-2 win in Game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens thanks to a four goal rally in the third period. Here were the top 3 studs from the win.

#3 Logan Thompson

Logan Thompson left Game 3 with an injury but came back in Game 4 and was outstanding. He finished with 16 saves on 18 shots for a .889 save percentage. He would also stop all nine shots he faced in the third period while the Caps put up four goals on the board in the final 20.

LT's best save of the game came in the first period when he stopped Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki from in tight after the Capitals lost control of the puck. It was Montreal's first shot on net at even strength in a span of almost 10 minutes and it came from eight feet away.

#2 Brandon Duhaime

Brandon Duhaime would get two goals on the night including the equalizer in the third period after a great net crash sequence with Connor McMichael. It all came after a Tom Wilson hit on Canadiens blueliner Alexandre Carrier near the center line across from the benches.

After the play Jakob Chychrun launched a pass down ice to the Montreal end. Duhaime would watch the puck land and put the bouncing puck past Habs goalie Jakub Dobes.

"Tom just smokes a guy at center ice; I was kind of admiring that. (Chychrun) gets it, and it's a high flick; that's a tough puck for any defenseman to handle. And then, it squirts through."

Capitals coach Spencer Carbery would add that Wilson's hit that led to the Duhaime goal "completely changed the momentum of the game."

#1 Andrew Mangiapane

Andrew Mangiapane scored a clutch goal with 3:37 remaining in the game to end a 2-2 tie. It gave the Caps their fist lead of the night since the middle of the second period and they never looked back.

Mangiapane unleashed a shot from the high slot that fooled Dobes on his glove side. Trevor van Riemsdyk created the play as he fed a nice stretch pass to Dylan Strome who found Mangiapane on the two on one rush.

"It was a great play by our (defenseman) there; I don't know who it was. But a great quick up caught them a little bit there. (Strome) with a great play and poise to drop it to me. I was thinking of passing it to (Ovechkin) obviously; he's a pretty good goal scorer. But I wanted to shoot it on net and get a good shot, and it went in for me. It was a good play by everybody on the ice there," said Mangiapane.
