The Washington Capitals look to bounce back from Monday’s overtime loss on Wednesday night.
In front of a national TV audience, the Washington Capitals will look to show the hockey world that their torrid start to the season was no fluke. The Capitals come in with an 8-1-1 record on the road while the Flyers are 6-1-1 at home. Needless to say, something’s gotta give.
This contest will be just the fourth Metropolitan Division game of the season for the Capitals after playing 10 consecutive games against either teams from the Atlantic Division or Western Conference.
The Capitals rallied from a 3-0 deficit on Monday night to the Arizona Coyotes to at least come away with a point, extending their point streak to 12 games entering tonight.
