Taking a look at Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin’s man cave.

On Sunday afternoon Alex Ovechkin was straight flexin on Instagram. The Washington Capitals superstar showed off his man cave in what appears to be Ovechkin’s attic in his Virginia home. We all got an up close look at it which was a nice break from our football Sundays.

The walls of the attic are covered with a collection of game worn jerseys, signed posters, and hockey sticks. It is almost like a museum for the ultimate hockey fan. There’s a pool table in the middle with couches against the walls which presents a nice chill environment away from the ice.

While there isn’t a TV, the collection of jerseys and hockey artifacts will make any hockey player or fan envious. In the video we get an appearance from Ovechkin’s dad and his son Sergei. One cool thing we saw was pictures from the parade as well as a team photo after they won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

We also see a collection of Ovechkin jerseys from his days of playing in Russia to his early days on the Capitals. Sergei is easily the star of the video as he picks up a pool ball looking like he wants to play a game.

Another thing that sticks out in the video is a lifesize Alex Ovechkin bobblehead, helmets, more pictures, his jersey from draft day, and a whole lot more including a picture of the Ovechkin family with owner Ted Leonsis at one of his pregame ceremonies.

Now this man cave just makes us all want to hang out with Ovechkin someday. He’s a beast on the ice and family man off of it. Last season Ovechkin scored 48 goals and brought up his goal total to 706.

Now we know how he relaxes when he’s away from the ice. When he’s not spending time with his family he’s getting ready for the season ahead. There are some big years left in Ovechkin’s career as he inches towards Wayne Gretzky’s “unbreakable” record.
