The Washington Capitals take on the New York Islanders after a thrilling win over them on Tuesday night. With 27 seconds left, Justin Schultz said no to overtime with a game winning goal. The Caps have yet to lose in regulation, can they continue the momentum?

Connor McMichael, Martin Fehervary, and Nick Jensen were out there with the main group practicing. Lars Eller was out as he’s day to day with an upper body injury. Brian Pinho was being kept off the ice and will partake instead in off ice workouts.
Tom Wilson will be a game time decision. Nicklas Backstrom should be good to go. And yes that is T.J. Oshie playing center tonight on the second line. Weird times but Peter Laviolette has no choice with many players out.
The Caps are 7-4-0 in their last 11 games against the Islanders after their 3-2 win on Tuesday. Justin Schultz scored the game-winning goal with 27 seconds left and was the latest goal the Caps scored in regulation this season.
