The Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Capitals meet again on Tuesday night just two days after their first meeting of the season which saw Philly pull away in a 7-4 victory.

Tuesday marks their 13th game of the season and final game of the week with the NHL postponing both contests at the Buffalo Sabres due to COVID-19 on the Sabres.

The Caps have yet to field the same lineup since opening night and on Sunday were without both Jakub Vrana and T.J. Oshie in addition to other injuries, Vrana on the COVID protocol list.

The Caps held a practice on Monday at MedStar Capitals Iceplex and got some reinforcements. Justin Schultz practiced after missing the last four games with an upper body injury. That came when he took a puck to the face on Jan. 28 against the New York Islanders.

Also on the ice was Evgeny Kuznetsov who has missed the last several games due to COVID protocol. In fact, he missed the last eight games. He rejoined the team for workouts on Sunday before taking the ice on Monday for the first time.

The Caps will look to get back in the win column in their final game before a long break before Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh. Can they do it? Here’s how to find out.
