Penguins vs. Washington Capitals: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More

It’s a Washington Capitals screaming eagle reverse retro gameday! Tonight the Caps will debut those beauties against the Pittsburgh Penguins in what is sure to be a big East Division matchup.

Coming off a win over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday afternoon, the Caps are looking to carry over the momentum that they started last Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

In that game against the Penguins last week, the Caps played their best game of the season.

The occasion also marked their first win of the season over their rivals. Alex Ovechkin (one goal, three assists) and Evgeny Kuznetsov (two goals, two assists) each lead the Caps this season in points against the Penguins.

The Caps split a pair of games over the weekend against the New York Rangers and Devils. They dropped the Rangers contest before bouncing back a day later.

In that Sunday contest against the Devils, the Caps got two goals from T.J. Oshie and the eventual game winner from Ovechkin. It was a game the Caps started slow but finished strong.

The Penguins have only played twice since their loss last Tuesday to the Caps, splitting a pair of contests with the New York Islanders with their win coming in Sidney Crosby’s 1,000th NHL game.

Which Caps team is going to show up tonight? The one that lost to the Rangers or the one coming off the win over the Devils? Here is how to find out.
