Washington Capitals vs. Sabres: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
The Washington Capitals will face the Buffalo Sabres for the sixth time this season and third time in Buffalo. The Caps carry a 4-0-1 record this season against the Sabres and are coming off their fourth straight win, sweeping the Philadelphia Flyers on the road.
In that win over the Flyers, the Caps hung on for a 5-4 final score and got contributions up and down the lineup. Daniel Sprong and Carl Hagelin put the Caps up early with goals in the first period. After the Flyers got on the board, Nick Jensen answered with his second goal of the season, his other one also coming against the Flyers.

The Flyers would score again to make it a one goal game before the Caps answered once again this time from Alex Ovechkin for his 10th goal of the season. He’s one goal away from tying Phil Esposito for sixth in NHL history in goals. 4-2 was the score entering the final period.
Jensen wasn’t the only Cap that had de ja vu against the Flyers. Nic Dowd scored in the third period to give the Caps a 5-2 cushion before the Flyers answered with two goals in an attempted comeback that ultimately failed.
