Washington Capitals at Bruins: Revenge game
The Washington Capitals conclude their two game road trip on Sunday night against the Boston Bruins. The Caps are coming off a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres, a response just 24 hours after losing to the Bruins on home ice. It’ll be the sixth meeting between the teams this season. The Caps are 2-3-0.
Peter Lavioltte told the media after morning skate that Vitek Vanecek will be in net for the Caps. Vancek is 16-7-3 with a 2.66 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.
