After getting dogged by the Buffalo Sabres, the Washington Capitals hit the road for a four game road trip. The trip begins with a back to back affair beginning today at 12:30 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Tomorrow they’ll head to Boston to take on the Bruins.
This will be the sixth meeting between the teams this season, the Caps are 4-1-0 and their March wins against the Flyers arguably broke them as the team struggled down the stretch.

Alex Ovechkin leads the Caps with nine points with six goals and three assists and six goals in five games against the Flyers this season. With 35 points in 43 games this season with 14 goals and 21 assists, T.J. Oshie‘s 0.81 points per game rate this season is the second highest rate of his career. The previous high came in 2016-17 with 0.82 points per game.
Anthony Mantha has made a good first impression with two goals in his first two games since being traded to the Caps.
